Indigenous Advisory Council

The Indigenous Advisory Council (IAC) brings together experienced voices from across the agriculture and food systems landscape to help guide the next phase of the Indigenous Agriculture and Food Systems (IAFS) National Engagement.

Created as a strategic sounding board, the IAC helps ensure that the National Engagement reflects the realities, priorities, and lived experiences of Indigenous peoples. Council members review the approach, offer insight on early findings, and surface regional nuances or gaps that may not emerge through engagement activities alone.
